Adda scarf - hand knitted - Silk / mohair

Soft and light scarf, hand-knitted in pure Bourette silk and mohair + mulberry silk.

This beautiful accessory is ideal for cool days all year round. The scarf is knitted in double moss stitch, making it fully reversible and the same on both sides. Weight approximately 22 g.

Hand wash cold. Do not wring, but gently squeeze out water. Lay flat and wrinkle-free on a towel and roll up the knit to absorb excess water. Then lay flat and wrinkle-free to dry. The product is washed after knitting.

Waste is minimized by hand knitting locally from offcuts and yarn scraps.
Pure bourette silk (raw silk) is made from silk fibers collected from cocoons after the pupae have been allowed to mature into moths and escape. The yarn is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Produced by Knitting for Olive.
The mohair comes from Angora goats raised in South Africa, and the yarn is also produced locally. Mohair is certified sustainable and RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard). The yarn is produced with great respect for animal welfare and with social responsibility. The spinning mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards and creates yarn free from harmful chemicals. The yarn is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Produced by Knitting for Olive.
