Soft, lightweight short-sleeved blouse, hand-knitted in pure Bourette silk and mohair + mulberry silk.

The blouse is knitted in a classic t-shirt design with a lace pattern in the raglan edge and ribbed edges on the sleeves, bottom and neckline.

Bourette silk and mulberry silk / mohair. Both yarns from Knitting for Olive
Hand wash cold. Do not wring, but gently squeeze out water. Lay flat and wrinkle-free on a towel and roll up the knit to absorb excess water. Then lay flat and wrinkle-free to dry. The product is washed after knitting.

Waste is minimized by hand knitting locally from offcuts and yarn scraps.
Pure bourette silk (raw silk) is made from silk fibers collected from cocoons after the pupae have been allowed to mature into moths and escape. The yarn is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Produced by Knitting for Olive.
The mohair comes from Angora goats raised in South Africa, and the yarn is also produced locally. Mohair is certified sustainable and RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard). The yarn is produced with great respect for animal welfare and with social responsibility. The spinning mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards and creates yarn free from harmful chemicals. The yarn is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Produced by Knitting for Olive.
