Hana steps - unique wall hanging

The Hana Steps wall hanging is a unique textile work by Anne Rosenberg.

The quilt is made from fabric scraps from the sewing room in the Hana pattern and light yellow and cream colored 100% pure linen.

The wall hanging is hand quilted in stripes along the patchwork and along the Hana pattern circles. The edging of the wall hanging is in linen and is hand sewn to the back of the wall hanging.

The quilt has an embroidered signature and year on the back.

The Hana pattern used in the wall hanging was designed by Anne Rosenberg and is printed on organic cotton poplin in Germany.

The back of the wall hanging is 100% light yellow linen – the border is cream-colored linen along the sides and light yellow linen at the ends.
The filling is 100% cotton.

The quilt has four hidden loops on the back at the top and bottom for hanging. Two round pine sticks are included, and the wall hanging can be mounted to the wall with a single nail or screw, depending on the wall type.
